The Premier Artist 14" x 6.5" Copper Snare Drum Brushed Copper is a versatile snare for warm tone controlled overtones and sensitive playing. Its 1.2mm copper shell produces a dark earthy mid-range with muted high frequencies combining the projection of a metal shell with an organic warmth that works well on stage and in the studio. The 14" x 6.5" dimensions provide a deep full-bodied fundamental with strong projection and powerful rimshots while still allowing you to tighten the sound without losing its body. Hand-selected 24-strand steel snare wires provide an active snare buzz while leaving space for the shells natural tone. Combined with 1.5mm triple-flange hoops this gives you an open resonant response suited to cutting rock backbeats sensitive Jazz playing and controlled studio recording.
