These Promark Classic Forward 747 FireGrain Hickory Drumsticks are the perfect pair for heavy hitters. Like other sticks from Promark these American Hickory ones feature a FireGrain finish where they have been hardened by flame to improve their sound and durability. Many drummers prefer this finish as it results in less fraying around the rimshot point and they will also dent rather than break down like a standard Hickory stick would do. Whats more their short taper offers a front-weighted feel and added volume making them a perfect choice for heavier styles like Rock and Metal. Finally these Promark Classic Forward 747 FireGrain Hickory Drumsticks also feature an oval tip that provides a full-bodied warm tone - ideal for a variety of applications.
