The Rode NTG-2 is a dual-powered shotgun condenser microphone designed for use with DSLRs and other professional-grade cameras. The NTG-2 can be powered via a AA battery or Phantom Power for added flexibility. This allows you to use the microphone in situations where Phantom Power is not available such as DSLR video. The condenser transducer delivers a wide frequency response capturing your audio source in immense detail. It also boasts low-handling noise ensuring optimal signal integrity. An integrated high-pass filter is ideal for minimising unwanted low-end noise from traffic. It comes complete with a WSVM windshield helping to combat wind noise while filming.
