The Sela 36" Chau Gong is ideal for sound therapy meditation practitioners and percussionists looking for rich immersive resonance. Its traditional Chinese design features a curved rim and a surface partly left raw for a striking visual contrast. Made from a special bronze alloy this 36" gong produces a deep voluminous tone that fills the space and lingers perfect for relaxation or dramatic musical accents.Different striking techniques reveal a variety of frequency ranges making the gong highly versatile. Whether youre leading a meditation session or scoring an orchestral piece it responds with subtle shifts in tone. It also comes with a maple-handled mallet featuring a velvet-covered head for controlled impact and a zippered carry case for easy transport and protection.
