Available from Gear4Music at €137.00.

The Vandoren B40 Profile 88 Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece 13 Series is suited to players needing a warm centred tone with flexible control and reliable tuning at A = 440Hz. Its moderately open tip opening creates a balanced responsive feel allowing enough airflow for a full sound while maintaining control. This helps you shape your tone with clarity especially in ensemble settings where blend and intonation are essential. The Profile 88 beak slightly adjusts the mouthpiece angle helping you find a more natural embouchure (especially if you prefer a flatter feel). This added comfort supports cleaner articulation and reduces fatigue over longer sessions. Paired with a medium long facing you get flexibility in phrasing while keeping airflow steady and predictable. Notes speak clearly with consistent response across the range. Made from ebonite it delivers a dependable tonal core along with stable tuning and controlled resistance that works well in both section playing and more exposed passages.
