The Vandoren VK1 Synthetic Tenor Saxophone Reed 35 is ideal for sax players who need a dependable mid-strong reed that holds up to regular use and changing conditions. Its made from a specially developed synthetic fibre that behaves like cane but doesnt break down with moisture or time. This reed performs reliably right out of the pack. Theres no soaking prepping or reshaping involved simply just fit it and play. The material is also washable and can be safely disinfected with alcohol or food-safe cleaners making it practical for repeated hygienic use. With a strength of 35 it sits at the firmer end of the VK1 range offering extra control and projection. Designed to last much longer than natural cane its best stored on a flat-surfaced holder to maintain shape and performance.
