For travelling players the disassembled body is a great advantage allowing the mute to be stacked into a compact size. The new mute is smaller and lighter improving balance when playing. An adjustable rod allows players to position the mute head so they can achieve their desired pitch resonance and playing feel. Thanks to this new feature the mute can be used with a variety of bell sizes. The Yamaha PM2X silent brass mute comes equipped with a cable owners manual and belt.
