Ernie Ball Music Man

Ernie Ball Music Man is an American manufacturer of electric guitars and bass guitars. Music Man was founded in 1974 and acquired by Ernie Ball in 1984. Its range includes the StingRay bass family and signature guitars developed with musicians such as John Petrucci and Steve Lukather.

The brand is particularly associated with the StingRay, introduced in 1976 and known for its active electronics and humbucking pickup configuration. Current StingRay Special models include four- and five-string basses, with single- and dual-humbucker options. The guitar range includes John Petrucci signature instruments such as the Majesty, while artist bass models include the Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay.

On MyGear, partner retailers currently have 13 Ernie Ball Music Man products in stock, priced from £2,699 to £4,199. This selection places the brand in the premium instrument market, with listings spanning StingRay Special basses, artist models and Majesty guitars in a variety of finishes.
