Ovation

Ovation is an American brand known for acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, including steel-string, nylon-string and 12-string models, as well as acoustic bass guitars. Its distinctive construction combines a composite roundback body with a wooden soundboard. Ovation is also associated with onboard pickups and preamps for amplified performance.

The range includes Celebrity instruments and higher-priced models such as the USA Pro Series Legend and Elite. Some Elite models feature multiple small soundholes near the shoulders rather than a single central soundhole. Musicians documented using Ovation instruments include Paul Simon, Freddie Mercury and Brian May.

MyGear currently lists 19 Ovation products in stock at partner retailers, with listing prices ranging from €5 to €2,390. These figures describe the available listings rather than the price range of complete instruments alone. The selection includes acoustic bass guitars alongside six-string, nylon-string and 12-string guitars, spanning more accessible models and higher-priced instruments.
