The DPA Microphones 4055 Kick Drum Microphone is a condenser microphone that delivers clear accurate sound that precisely recreates the low-end of a kick drum. The 4055s open cardioid polar pattern provides a wider pickup area on the sides ensuring more accurate and focused capture of a kick drums sound. Robust and perfect for live and studio use the 4055 can fit on stage in an orchestral pit or in a studio live room easily. The 4055s meticulous design ensures that the gain can be driven to extremely high levels before feedback. Thanks to its even sensitivity throughout the frequency spectrum the 4055 shines not only on kick drums but also on guitar and bass cabs giving you a balanced sound with punchy low-end to fit any genre. Finally DPA have ensured that the 4055s design is tough and long-lasting with a heavy-duty grid and durable surface that will keep up with even the most intensive use over years.
