Ernie Ball Mammoth Slinky Nickel Wound 5-String Bass Strings 55-145

Available from Gear4Music at 34,10 €.

The Ernie Ball Mammoth Slinky Nickel Wound 5-String Bass Strings 55-145 is suited to bassists who need higher tension and a strong defined low-end response. The heavier gauge increases string resistance helping you dig in harder while keeping notes tight and controlled. This makes them a solid choice for heavier playing styles or lower tunings where stability matters. Each string is made from nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hex-shaped steel core producing a bright balanced tone that still holds clarity across the full range. The consistent construction supports reliable tuning and a steady feel under your fingers even during more demanding sessions. Built using high-quality fresh materials these strings are designed to handle regular rehearsal recording and live performance without losing their response.
