The EVH 5150 Series Deluxe Baked Maple Black delivers uncompromising high-performance tone with unmistakable EVH attitude. Whether youre delivering tight palm-muted riffs or fluid legato runs this 5150 responds instantly to your touch with clarity sustain and stage-ready aggression. Its modified Strat-style basswood body provides balanced resonance tight low-end response and focused mids that thrive under high gain. Finished in bold Black it commands attention on stage while retaining the aggressive silhouette that defines the 5150 legacy. The graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck features Eddie Van Halens modified "C" shape and a hand-rubbed satin finish for a fast naturally worn-in feel. A 12"-16" compound-radius baked maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets transitions seamlessly from a comfortable chord feel at the nut to a flatter radius ideal for wide expressive bends in the upper register. Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers a top-mount Floyd Rose tremolo with EVH D-Tuna and a dedicated kill switch combine for a high-performance package.
