The Fender Lee Sklar Precision Bass celebrates one of the most recorded and respected bassists in modern music faithfully recreating the heavily modified instrument that has defined his unmistakable tone for decades. Part of the Fender Stories Collection it captures the character of Sklars legendary "Frankenstein" bass with a naturally worn aesthetic. An alder body finished in Satin Heirloom Nitrocellulose Lacquer delivers balanced resonance and Fender punch while the stripped-back Natural finish reflects the well-loved appearance of the original instrument. A slim 1962 Jazz Bass "C" maple neck is paired with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard featuring unique mandolin frets for an exceptionally fluid playing experience. Dual EMG Active Lee Sklar P pickups provide outstanding clarity dynamic response and powerful output while a BadAss II bridge and Hipshot BT3 Bass Xtender ensure exceptional sustain stable tuning and instant access to lower tunings. Complete with premium hardware throughout the Lee Sklar Precision Bass delivers the distinctive feel tone and versatility of one of the most iconic bass guitars ever created.
