The Gibson Hummingbird Special Satin Ebony is a USA-built acoustic for players needing balanced tone and stage-ready electronics. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides it gives you a warm even sound with enough clarity to cut through a mix. The slightly thinner concert depth body keeps the low end controlled while making long sessions more comfortable.You also get dependable on-stage sound thanks to the L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup with a simple soundhole-mounted volume control for quick adjustments. A rounded utile neck and rosewood fingerboard keep things familiar and easy to play while Grover Rotomatic tuners help you stay in tune. Finished in satin nitrocellulose it feels smooth and natural in your hands and its ready to go straight from the included soft shell case.
