The Gibson J-45 Special Satin Ebony is a USA-built acoustic that captures the essence of one of Gibsons most iconic designs while offering a more accessible take on the classic Workhorse formula. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides it delivers a warm balanced tone with strong projection and dynamic response. The slightly thinner concert depth body makes it more comfortable to hold while tightening up the low end helping it sit neatly in a mix whether youre recording or playing live. A SlimTaper neck profile provides a fast comfortable playing feel paired with a rosewood fingerboard for smooth navigation across all 20 frets. The traditional scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness while Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure reliable tuning stability. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup and soundhole-mounted volume control its ready for plug-in performance straight out of the case making it a versatile choice for both stage and studio use.
