Hohner Marine Band 1896 Natural Minor Harmonica G

Available from Gear4Music at 57,62 €.

The Hohner Marine Band 1896 Harmonica G Natural Minor is suited to blues folk and expressive melodic playing. This model keeps the traditional Marine Band construction while using a natural minor tuning making it ideal for darker melodies and chord progressions without relying on advanced bending techniques. It works particularly well for minor-key blues world music and song accompaniment where a moodier sound is needed. The pearwood comb is double lacquered to reduce swelling while retaining the warm response players expect from a Marine Band. Brass reeds and 0.9 mm brass reed plates give clear projection and a focused tone while stainless steel cover plates add durability and a comfortable feel. With its familiar 10-hole diatonic layout and three-octave range this harmonica stays close to the classic Marine Band playing experience while expanding tonal possibilities.
