The Ibanez SRD900F-BTL is a fretless bass guitar that combines innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship. This instrument is part of the Bass Workshop project by Ibanez which aims to provide unique instruments for bass players seeking new sonic possibilities. Featuring a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck the SRD900F-BTL delivers tonal clarity and superior attack. The Panga Panga fretboard adds a touch of elegance and produces a tight low and mid-range with a sharp attack on the high end. The combination of an Exotic Maple top and Okoume body provides a bright and powerful sound that cuts through any mix. Equipped with Nordstrand "Big Break" pickups and the AeroSilk Piezo system this bass offers a wide range of tonal textures. The pickups deliver a full-bodied and aggressive tone with noiseless performance while the Piezo system adds an "air" that resembles the sound of an upright bass. The Ibanez 2-band EQ with Piezo active tone control allows for precise shaping of your sound. The SRD900F-BTL also features an AeroSilk MR5 bridge with unique saddles designed to enhance the acoustic quality of the tone. Additionally the luminescent side dot position marks ensure easy visibility on dark stages. With its extended 30-fret neck the Ibanez SRD900F-BTL opens up new possibilities for playing upper register notes making it a versatile instrument for any bass player seeking to explore new sonic territories.
