The Kokoriko by Gear4music is a handheld percussion instrument suited to creating cascading clicks rattles and rhythmic effects. Made from White Cedar its connected wooden slats move against each other as you manipulate the instrument producing a dry distinctive percussive sound. You can flex shake and roll the Kokoriko to explore different rhythmic patterns and textures. Its hands-on design gives you direct control over each effect making it useful for adding extra movement and character to percussion parts. Play quick flourishes for accents or use repeated movements to build longer rhythmic textures. Compact and straightforward to play its an easy addition to percussion setups where you want an alternative to conventional shaken or struck sounds.
