Available from Gear4Music at 30,93 €.

The Pirastro Chorda Violin G String features a traditional sound and feel for the classical musician. The gut core produces a range of complex harmonics with a warm overall sound. The heavy tension gauge on this model is ideal for musicians who have a naturally forceful bowing technique. This string benefits from a silver plated winding for increased tuning stability and more depth on the resonance. This model has a knot tailpiece end and is designed for full size violins. The Chorda series of strings offer players a traditional performance. The sheep gut core has a warm soft sound that is commonly associated with classical pieces. The majority of strings are left unwound for the most unaltered authentic tone available. These strings have a dynamic range of responses which can be utilised in both picking and bowed styles. This string series is designed primarily for 440Hz tuning which will give them their optimum responsiveness. The Chorda series is ideal for violinists wanting a traditional gut sound with comfortable playability.
