Pirastro Passione Violin D String Extra Light

Available from Gear4Music at 48,10 €.

The Pirastro Passione 13 Violin D String is ideal for the gigging musician. The gut core produces a warm sound with a range of complex overtones. This model is wound with silver for a more consistent feel and durability to the strings core. The extra thin gauge tension has a responsive vibrato for achieving a dynamic range of expression. This string features a ball tailpiece end and is designed for full size violins. The Passione series of strings offer a complex sound for the established musician. The strings successfully couple a warm tone with direct responses. The gut is manufactured wound and polished by hand for the most authentic feel. The strings strongly resonate and characterise your violins wood meaning each instrument retains its individual tone. The winding adds a protective layer around the gut to sustain its durability. The Passione strings sound best as a complete set producing cooperative harmonics that resonate freely with your violin.
