The playLITE 15 String Harp by Gear4music is a beautiful-sounding and easy-to-play instrument perfect for anyone wanting to get started on the harp. Tuned C4-C6 and tailored for beginners this compact instrument produces a clear and rich sound when the nylon strings are plucked. The body is made from painted okoume - a brilliant tonewood which helps to create a resonant and natural sound similar to mahogany. Two large soundholes at the rear of the harp project your performance making this an enjoyable and expressive instrument to play. An engaging red colour scheme and height of just 56cm makes this an excellent starter instrument for children of all ages. A large flat bottom keeps the harp stable and upright during playing and the sturdy okoume body is resistant to the inevitable knocks and bumps which come with regular use. The diatonic tuning lends itself to traditional and simple tunes ideal for somebody beginning their musical journey. Included with the harp is a protective carry case for transporting the instrument an attachable strap allowing players to perform in comfort and a tuning key to ensure perfect pitch.
