PRS McCarty Fire Red (2021) #0331462

Available from Gear4Music at 3879,38 €.

The PRS McCarty is a vintage-voiced guitar that blends classic feel with PRS precision and consistency. Built with a carved figured maple top and mahogany body it delivers a rich resonant sound with plenty of sustain while the slightly thicker body adds extra depth and character. The Pattern mahogany neck feels solid and reassuring and the rosewood fretboard with faux bone binding and bird inlays gives it that unmistakable PRS finish. Its a refined instrument with everything youd expect from a PRS. Loaded with a pair of PRS 58/15 LT pickups the McCarty serves up warm articulate tones with impressive clarity and a strong midrange focus. From smooth cleans to driven classic rock sounds theres loads of range on tap thanks to the push/pull tone control and 3-way toggle switch. A PRS adjustable stoptail bridge helps transfer vibration efficiently while the vintage-style tuners keep things stable. For players after old-school character without giving up modern reliability this one hits a very sweet spot indeed.
