In fact it produces approximately 75-percent less noise than a Roland KD-9 kick pad and beater. This versatile kick pedal is also ideal for use in hybrid drum kits alongside an acoustic pedal or as an expansion piece for other electronic percussion units such as Rolands SPD-SX HandSonic HOD-20 and Octapad SPD-30.
