The Selmer Paris Claude Delangle Alto Sax Mouthpiece is a mouthpiece combining tradition and innovation. With a controlled focused sound thats characteristic of classical mouthpieces youll be able to play with the clarity needed for the classical sax style. However this Selmer mouthpiece also boasts an openness to its sound. From this versatility alone its easy to see why this mouthpiece gets Claude Delangles seal of approval. Designed in collaboration with contemporary classical player Claude Delangle its the creative features that make this mouthpiece. For example the gold-plated metal ring which extends all the way inside the bore of the mouthpiece up to the chamber gives the mouthpiece a weight thats similar to metal mouthpieces and results in a dense full sound and gives the mouthpiece fantastic projection and power.
