The Thomastik Peter Infeld Orchestra Double Bass Strings Set 3/4 is designed for players who need a dependable set that works comfortably across orchestral and jazz settings. You get a centred tonal core with strong midrange presence which is handy when you want your sound to speak clearly without pushing too hard. The spiral rope core keeps the response consistent so you can rely on the strings day after day without any unpleasant surprises. Plus theyre easy to bow which helps you move between soft passages and more forceful strokes with confidence. They also offer plenty of growl and sustain giving jazz bassists room to shape lines without losing clarity. With a usable vibrating length from 103cm to 110cm this set is a practical fit for most 3/4 instruments making setup straightforward. Chrome-wound construction across the G to E strings supports a balanced feel under the fingers and a dependable tonal character.
