Available from Gear4Music at 127,88 €.

The Vandoren 5RV Lyre Profile 88 Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece is suited to players needing a focused centred tone with slightly freer airflow and consistent control. Its more open Lyre tip design allows increased airflow helping you produce a fuller sound while maintaining stability. This balance supports secure intonation particularly in ensemble settings where clarity and blend are essential. The Profile 88 beak slightly adjusts the angle of the mouthpiece giving you a flatter more natural embouchure (useful if you prefer a lower profile feel). This added comfort can reduce fatigue and support cleaner articulation over longer sessions. Paired with a medium facing the response feels balanced and flexible allowing you to shape phrases with control while keeping airflow steady and predictable. Made from ebonite it provides a stable tonal core with consistent resistance supporting both section playing and more exposed passages.
