The Vandoren T5L V16 Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece Metal is suited to players who want a warm vintage-style jazz sound with dependable control. Inspired by the classic tenor tones of the 1940s this V16 model combines a large chamber with a medium facing for a rich rounded character and smooth articulation. The result is a focused yet expressive response that works well across traditional and modern jazz settings.Made from Vandorens "Bell Metal" brass and finished with 24-karat gold plating this mouthpiece provides strong resonance alongside a comfortable playing feel. The T5 tip opening offers a balanced level of resistance for controlled phrasing and consistent projection during rehearsals recording sessions and live performance. Vandoren recommends pairing this model with ZZ reeds particularly strengths 2 2½ and 3 for the intended tonal response and flexibility.
