Wampler Plexi Drive Mini British Overdrive Pedal

Available from Gear4Music at 176,39 €.

The Wampler Plexi Drive Mini is a compact overdrive built for guitarists who need crunch without taking up precious pedalboard space. Its ideal for players chasing vintage 68-style bite heavier rock tones or a flexible drive that responds well to other pedals. Its gain structure moves smoothly from edge-of-breakup clarity to the feel of a cranked JTM-style amp. The mid boost switch reshapes several gain stages at once giving you a focused vocal lift that works well for solos or thicker rhythm parts. When you want extra depth the bass boost switch shifts the low end to mimic the shift between 2x12 and 4x12 cabinets - handy if you swap between amps or play on different stages. The simple three-knob layout keeps dial-ins quick while true bypass and a 9-18V power range make it easy to drop into any setup. If you want classic British character with modern flexibility this little pedal keeps things straightforward and reliable.
