WMutes Metal Violin & Viola Practice Mute Matt Gold

Available from Gear4Music at 123,47 €.

The WMutes Metal Practice Mute is a high-quality metal mute that is designed to produce the best quality muted timbres. Similar in muting capabilities to a standard practice mute this mute is smaller in size and as a result produces a more focussed stable and richer tone. A rubber-cork inner surface allows for a smooth attachment to your instruments bridge and also reduces any marks or scratches. The integrated clip-like system allows for easy application and removal. Being a heavier mute than standard mutes concerns may arise from how this affects string intonation. Fortunately this mute doesnt change the intonation of your instrument. This mute also eliminates wolf-tones that can sometimes occur. Made from refined brass this mute feels like quality. To finish off the premium feel the mute is plated with gold other materials are available to choose from including ruthenium or silver. The option of having this mute in a matte or a bright finish also allows you to choose the right look for you.
