Available from Gear4Music at 84,67 €.

The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKA-04 Yarn Wound Mallets are ideal for advanced marimba players who need precision and control for expressive dynamic performances. Created in collaboration with the celebrated marimbist Keiko Abe the MKA-04 sits at the harder end of the series making these a perfect pair of mallets for pieces that require bright attack and tonal clarity. Its dual-core head wrapped in durable yarn features a 1mm rubber tube for a more sensitive touch and expressive response. The heavier head design encourages full resonance from the marimbas tone bars producing a rich singing tone even in complex passages. The 430mm rattan shaft offers natural flexibility and balance making extended techniques and rapid changes feel effortless. Whether youre performing solo works or ensemble repertoire the MKA-04 mallets help you bring definition colour and strength to your playing.
