The Meinl Small Plastic Egg Maracas Black are an £8 option for simple hand percussion, but the Stagg Plastic Egg Maracas Red cost £4. If keeping costs down is your priority, the Stagg are worth comparing first.

The Meinl offer a small plastic egg-maraca format at a listed best new price of £8. They’re worth considering if that’s the type of hand percussion you want, though the supplied details don’t establish how they sound or feel in use.
