The Sennheiser HD 25 and Behringer ALPHA are alternatives worth comparing with the Sony MDR-7506/1. Their supplied best new prices are £113 and £42 respectively, versus £85 for the Sony.
The Sony MDR-7506/1 sits between those two options on price. The Behringer ALPHA is the cheaper shortlist choice; the Sennheiser HD 25 is worth comparing if your budget stretches further. Price alone doesn’t tell you which will suit your ears or your work.
