L.R. Baggs

L.R. Baggs is an American brand specialising in amplification equipment for acoustic stringed instruments. Its range includes magnetic soundhole pickups, undersaddle pickups, instrument microphones, preamps and direct boxes, alongside dedicated pickup systems for instruments such as violin and banjo.

The brand is known for acoustic guitar pickup systems including the M1, M80, Element and Anthem. The Anthem combines an internal microphone with an undersaddle pickup, while the M1 and M80 are magnetic soundhole designs. Its external electronics include the Para DI, an acoustic preamp and direct box with five-band equalisation.

On MyGear, 18 L.R. Baggs products are currently in stock at partner retailers, with prices ranging from €30 to €461. This selection spans lower-cost parts and accessories through to more substantial pickup systems and preamps, placing the brand primarily in the specialist acoustic-amplification market rather than the instrument-manufacturing market.
