Midas

Midas is a British-origin professional audio brand founded in 1970, best known for mixing consoles used in live sound. Its range includes analogue and digital mixers, microphone preamps, personal monitoring systems and audio interfaces. The brand's console history includes the XL4 analogue desk and the M32 digital mixer family.

Its products span compact mixing setups and larger professional systems. Models listed on MyGear include the DM12 analogue mixer, MR12 and MR18 digital mixers, and M32C rack mixer. The DP48 provides personal monitor mixing, while the Legend L10 chassis and 502 V2 microphone preamp module form part of its 500-series modular range.

MyGear currently lists 21 Midas products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £5 to £2,969, across audio mixers, live microphones and synthesizers. This price spread covers accessories and modular components as well as complete audio equipment, rather than representing mixer prices alone. Midas is principally associated with professional live-sound mixing, although its preamps and modular hardware also serve recording applications.
