Sampleson

Sampleson is a software-instrument developer whose range includes electric and acoustic pianos, guitar instruments and percussion. It is known for virtual keyboard instruments and its use of spectral modelling to recreate instrumental sounds. Its catalogue includes Electrix, Reed200 V2, Suit73 V2 and Markus88, alongside instruments such as MetaPiano, ElectroNylon and Haptic Perc.

With prices at MyGear’s partner retailers ranging from £15 to £79, Sampleson occupies an affordable part of the software-instrument market. Its products offer individual instrument sounds rather than physical keyboards or studio hardware, making the range relevant to computer-based composition, recording and production. MyGear currently lists 20 Sampleson products in stock at partner retailers.
