u-he

u-he is a German developer of software synthesisers and audio effects. Its instruments range from virtual analogue designs to modular and semi-modular synthesisers, serving music production and sound-design workflows within digital audio workstations.

The brand is known for instruments including Diva, which models analogue synthesiser components, and Zebra, which combines multiple synthesis techniques in a modular environment. Other instruments include Repro, Hive 2, ACE and Bazille. Its effects range includes Satin for tape emulation, Colour Copy and MFM2 for delay processing, and Filterscape for filtering and equalisation.

MyGear currently lists 13 u-he products in stock at partner retailers, with prices from £57 to £209. This places its listed range in the paid software-instrument and effects market rather than the hardware synthesiser market, spanning lower-priced processors and more expensive synthesisers.
