Legendary design with a sought-after sound. The AKG C451 B is a small-diaphragm condenser with a rich heritage. Its design incorporates the handcrafted CK1 capsule from the revered AKG C451 EB - an industry-favourite since 1969. The C451 Bs acoustical behaviour is identical to its predecessor with an airy sound high overload limit and improved engineering details. Perfect as drum overheads or for recording cymbals and more the C451 B captures sound with exceptional accuracy for natural and realistic results. The sound is articulate and clear with plenty of versatility thanks to switchable pre-attenuation and low-cut filters. And with the ability to record sounds with huge SPLs of up to 155dB even the loudest sound sources can be reproduced with precision. This stereo pair provides you with two C451 B microphones two windshields two clips a stereo bar and a rugged hard case. The mics are perfectly matched with identical sensitivity and a maximum variance of 1dB at the frequency response.
