The Arturia Synclavier V is a meticulous plug-in recreation of a vintage Synclavier synthesizer created in collaboration with original co-creator Cameron Jones. A true powerhouse that combines FM synthesis additive synthesis and sampling capabilities Synclavier V delivers a huge range of imaginative sounds to explore. A unique source for sounds and ideas Arturia has taken the original sound-generation capabilities of the Synclavier and multiplied them by three to inflate the Synclavier V far beyond the original possibilities of its hardware counterpart. One of the most prestigious and well-regarded synths of all time the Synclavier was utilised by the likes of Sting Frank Zappa Michael Jackson Chick Corea and many others. It later evolved into the first tapeless music production system long before DAWs with unprecedented features like high-res sampling and resynthesis. Now recreated in for the modern age of powerful computers and DAWs the Arturia Synclavier V2 offers a range of new features that respect the workflow and philosophy of the original machine while expanding its already extensive sound design capabilities. The advanced panel includes the ability to define waveforms for both carrier and modulator take up to 50 snapshots of a sample as well as extensive modulation capabilities on a 16x16 mod matrix for each partial.
