The British Drum Co. Aviator 14 x 6.5" Aluminium Snare Drum is designed for players needing controlled tone sensitivity and refined visual style. Its seamless 1.2mm aluminium shell produces a dry focused sound with a wide dynamic range helping you move easily between light ghost notes and more assertive backbeats. Youll notice a clean articulate response that suits a variety of playing situations.Hardware is built with reliability in mind. The Palladium snare strainer offers smooth consistent adjustment while chrome-plated Palladium lugs with ThreadGrip technology help keep your tuning stable during longer sessions. Visually the drum takes cues from classic aviation design with an anodised finish subtle central bead and distinctive vent badge. A cherry veneer insert behind the badge adds a touch of warmth to the otherwise understated metal aesthetic giving you a snare that feels considered in both sound and appearance.
