Buffet BC4131 Prodige Oboe with Thumbplate System

Available from Gear4Music at 2 409,47 €.

The Buffet BC4131 Prodige Oboe is made for learners who prefer the thumbplate system. It blends beginner-friendly playability with professional-grade tone and materials using input from music educators and Buffets own oboists. The hybrid construction features a grenadilla wood body with a resin-lined bore helping to reduce the risk of cracks while keeping the warm responsive sound of traditional wood. From the very first notes the instrument supports smoother transitions between registers and more reliable control over the low range. This Oboe also comes complete with a little hands kit for precise finger placement. This kit consists of small discs that fit onto the keys of the oboe to make the keys easier to reach. Whether in school ensembles or private lessons the BC4131 gives players the tools to build strong fundamentals with ease.
