The Danelectro Blackout 59 is designed for players wanting classic tones with modern playability. Based on Danelectros best selling NOS+ model this version keeps the same vintage pickups and proven specification but adds a darker visual edge with black pickguards and black side tape. The semi-hollow body with a centre block helps balance resonance and control giving you a lively response without feeling loose or unpredictable. Its a useful setup if you want warmth and clarity in equal measure. The double cutaway Shorthorn shape makes upper frets easy to reach while the C-shaped maple neck and 14 inch radius feel familiar in the hand. With two lipstick pickups a three-way switch and simple master volume and tone controls dialing in sounds is quick and distraction free!
