Made from solid European tonewoods with medium flames on the back the Ideale violin looks as good as it sounds. Its unusual to get a hand varnished instrument in this price range. But GEWA has done it! The Ideale VL2 violin has a red-brown natural resin varnish and once combined with the full ebony fittings you will realise how good this violin looks. To ensure you get the best possible start GEWA has made this outfit to include everything you need. On the violin you will find Thomastik Alphayue strings and a Wittner fine-tuning tailpiece so you can start to learn the basics of tuning. The Ideale violin also includes a shaped case rosin and a Bulletwood bow with natural hair.
