The Ibanez MDM1605 Mode is a modern five-string bass built for players who want classic balance paired with contemporary versatility. Its roasted maple neck delivers exceptional stability and a slick comfortable feel while the rosewood fretboard adds warmth and focus across the register. A poplar burl top over an alder body provides striking visuals alongside a balanced tonal foundation with plenty of punch clarity and sustain for both studio and stage use. Loaded with Delta S5J pickups and the Ibanez Sonitech S preamp the MDM1605 offers an impressive range of sounds from tight supportive lows to articulate mids and crisp highs. The Hexa Mid system allows precise mid-frequency shaping while the EQ bypass switch adds instant passive character when needed. Lightweight Aero-light tuners an adjustable MR5S bridge and a Super All Access neck joint ensure comfort balance and effortless playability throughout long sessions with a fitted gig bag included.
