The Mapex Black Panther Pegasus 14 x 5.5 Maple/Walnut Snare Drum is a maple-walnut hybrid snare with full-bodied tones and ferocious attack. A brand new addition to Mapexs acclaimed Black Panther range the Pegasus benefits from a combination of two separate tonewoods: maple and walnut. Maple wood provides the warm all-purpose snare tones you know and love while walnut - a much harder wood - is known for powerful focused attack. The result is the Pegasus snares thrilling blend of sonics. You can expect unrelenting attack like the pounding of hooves against an open plain as well as rich resonant sounds that sing in harmony with the rest of your kit. Its elegant maple burl finish imparts a regal aesthetic befitting of such an instrument. Will you take the reins?
