Meyer New York Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Ebonite 7M

Available from Gear4Music at 242,24 €.

The Meyer New York Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Rubber is a celebration of one of the most sought-after vintage alto mouthpieces ever produced. In commemoration of the 100th birthday of the JJ Babbitt Company Meyer issued a new edition of the 1948 Meyer Bros New York mouthpiece. Built to the same specifications as the original the New York retains all of the warmth richness and projection which has drawn so many legendary saxophonists to the classic mouthpiece. This hand-crafted mouthpiece has a slightly wider tip opening offering easier bends and inflections - making this a highly expressive mouthpiece perfect for soloists. Meyer mouthpieces have been produced in the USA since 1916. Since then they have gained acclaim from jazz musicians the world over and are particularly sought after by those seeking sweet vintage tones and free-blowing responsiveness. The Meyer New York comes included with a matching ligature and mouthpiece cap.
