Music Man StingRay Special Mean Blue Burst

Available from Gear4Music at 3 409,01 €.

The Music Man StingRay Special is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic bass guitars ever created. First introduced in 1976 the StingRay was among the earliest production basses to feature onboard active equalisation setting a new standard for punch clarity and control. This Special edition retains everything that made the original so influential including the unmistakable humbucker tone oval pickguard and 3+1 headstock layout while refining the design to suit todays players. Its a bass built for players who value tone feel and style. A roasted maple neck and sculpted five-bolt neck joint provide smooth access to all 22 stainless steel frets while refined body contours and lightweight hardware improve balance and comfort for long playing sessions. The powerful neodymium-loaded Music Man humbucker pairs with an 18-volt three-band active preamp to deliver huge headroom and a wide tonal range from tight modern punch to classic StingRay growl. Finished in Mean Blue Burst this StingRay Special blends classic identity with modern performance in a road-ready instrument.
