The Pirastro Eudoxa Violin A String has a developed sound and smooth playability for the advanced musician. The gut core produces a range of warm sounds with complex overtones. This model has a light tension gauge for an expressive response and more dynamic intensity range. The aluminium winding on this model has a flexible feel and improves the guts tuning stability. This model has a ball tailpiece end and is designed for full size violins. The Eudoxa series of strings offer players a broad range of sound possibilities. The strings all feature gut cores for orchestra tuning. The gut is manufactured wound and polished by hand. This gives the strings a traditional sound with subtle nuances of uniqueness and a more organic response. As well as tone the Eudoxa strings also have a comfortable feel that is light to touch on your hands. This is ideal for live musicians who want to play full gigs without feeling wear on their left hand. In studio situations the Eudoxa strings add depth and harmonics to your songs for a more detailed recording.
