Available from Gear4Music at 33,04 €.

The Pirastro Eudoxa 17 Violin D String offers a classical tone to the traditional style musician. The gut core has a soft feel and produces a warm harmonically rich tone. The aluminium winding keeps your string durable from wearing whilst adding clarity to the high frequencies. This model has a heavy gauge tension which adds sustain and depth to your notes as well as an improved response to heavy bowing. This model features a knot tailpiece end and is designed for full size violins. The Eudoxa series of strings offer players a broad range of sound possibilities. The strings all feature gut cores for orchestra tuning. The gut is manufactured wound and polished by hand. This gives the strings a traditional sound with subtle nuances of uniqueness and a more organic response. As well as tone the Eudoxa strings also have a comfortable feel that is light to touch on your hands. This is ideal for live musicians who want to play full gigs without feeling wear on their left hand. In studio situations the Eudoxa strings add depth and harmonics to your songs for a more detailed recording.
