Premier Nylon Rods

Available from Gear4Music at 11,75 €.

The Premier Nylon Rods are lightweight drum rods suited to acoustic sets and intimate performances. They sit between drumsticks and brushes in terms of volume giving you reduced sound while retaining more clarity and presence than brushes. The 55 flexible nylon rods also provide a durable alternative to wooden designs making them suitable for both softer and harder playing styles. Two adjustable rubber rings let you change the articulation to suit the sound youre after giving you more control over how the rods respond. Large plastic handles provide a secure grip and help keep each stroke controlled and deliberate. Whether youre exploring different drum timbres or need to keep your volume down during an unplugged set these rods give you a practical alternative to conventional sticks.
