Available from Gear4Music at 229,31 €.

The sE Electronics sE8 Supercardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone is a focused pencil microphone for detailed instrument recording on stage or in studios. Its supercardioid pickup pattern concentrates on the source ahead while reducing sound arriving from the sides helping drums acoustic guitar brass and orchestral instruments sit more cleanly in a mix. The handcrafted gold-sputtered capsule responds quickly and keeps the sound natural so small performance details remain clear. Quiet Class-A electronics and a transformerless design preserve clarity without adding distracting noise. Two selectable attenuation settings help prevent input overload when recording powerful sources while 80 Hz and 160 Hz low-cut filters tackle rumble footfall noise and excess bass. An all-metal body shields the electronics and gold-plated XLR contacts support a reliable connection. Supplied with a microphone clip thread adaptor and windscreen it is ready for focused studio or live work when connected to equipment providing P48 phantom power.
